As an outdoorsy mom, I relied on having good sunglasses during winter as well as the sunnier seasons. Sunglasses were a must have year round. When I started reviewing products in the summer of 2013, I began with reviews of kids’ sunglasses, and I learned how polarization was important to the health of my eyes. Recently I received two pairs of DIZM eyewear, which were both polarized. I wrote a review to examine the quality and the style of the products.

Review of the Eyewear

Generously the company sent me the Mary Jane style of eyewear in black. As I had a background of attending and volunteering for runway shows, as well as interning for fashion photographers, I examined the fashionability of the sunglasses. I liked the traditional look of the Mary Jane style, which I felt would go well with a hipster style. When I wore the sunglasses, I paired them with some skinny jeans and wedge ankle boots when I went out for coffee with friends in Hillsboro Village, the hip area of Nashville, Tennessee near the universities. I fit in well with the yuppies in the area. Because I knew most people hadn’t yet discovered the brand I was wearing, I felt very fashion forward. While the sunglasses had a cool style, I loved that they protected my eyes as I sipped my coffee outside.

I also received the Heartbreaker style of eyewear to review. Later in the week, I wore my Heartbreaker sunglasses to go running. Years ago, I started long distance running after having a recommendation from a talent agent, and I recently started reviewing running shoes. Now, as a runner, I loved that the sunglasses gave me an Old Hollywood style during my run. I didn’t have to look boring and overly athletic as I ran. I paired my sunglasses with some of my trendy running clothes, and I felt very stylish. I liked that the style was classic. The sunglasses kept out the right amount of light. I was able to focus on running well without being distracted by the sun. Comfort was key during running. Luckily the sunglasses sat well on my nose and felt very comfortable. After my run, the sunglasses helped spruce up my outfit to make me look acceptable when I ran a few errands.

Regarding the quality of the eyewear, I examined that the products felt very durable. Because my older daughter was tempted to play with the sunglasses, I was relieved that the items didn’t break. When I threw the sunglasses in my bag, I used the carrying case and the products didn’t get a scratch. The sunglasses were obviously made well and could withstand regular use. I wholeheartedly planned to continue wearing the sunglasses in the future because of the products’ comfortability, durability, and fashionability.

I received two products, but it in no way influenced my opinion.
