Shopping green is a priority to me. I grew up valuing sustainability. Shopping green makes a big difference in the world. The trend for green businesses is growing, which is inspiring to me, as it makes me want to focus on shopping green even more. To shop for earth-friendly items for holiday gifts, I tried out BuyGreen.com, a website focusing on items made with the earth in mind.

BuyGreen.com Review

My favorite item on the website was a cool Palomino Horse Ride-on Toy manufactured by the company Plan Toys. I adored the classic style and I knew that my younger daughter Georgiana would appreciate the item. Quickly, the item arrived to my home. Assembly was simple. After a couple minutes, the toy was put together and it looked adorable.

Rocking the horse back and forth, I noticed that it worked well. Everything felt sturdy. A feature I liked was that the horse’s rockers were rounded on the ends. With our family’s tall, heirloom rocking horse, the ends round off to a point, so it’s not so safe for a two year old child to play with it independently. Using the new ride-on toy, Georgiana looked very safe. Because the ends of the rockers were rounded, she couldn’t rock too far. Even when Georgiana started rocking a lot on the horse, the horse couldn’t flip too far forward or backwards.

When I shopped on the website, I found so many brands that I loved. Some of my favorites were Klean Kanteen and Green Toys, which I’ve previously reviewed. I had a hard time narrowing down my choice, but the website was organized so well that I was able to find the perfect item easily. I also discovered a lot of green brands that I didn’t previously know about, so I decided that I would need to return to the website in the future to continue to shop for a variety of green products.

Some of my favorite things about the website were that it was easy to navigate so it helped me find the ideal item for my daughter. Shopping on the website, I found a high quality item that helped support a green company. The ride-on horse arrived quickly and it was a fantastic choice. In the future, as I do my holiday shopping, I plan to continue shopping on BuyGreen.com.
