A Mom’s Opinion On The Kid Box
In June 2016, my older daughter tried out the Kid Box for the first time (you can read about it here), and I adored everything she received. That box had several 7 For All Mankind items, which I liked, and the styles were different from what I would usually choose in a store. All of the items have held up well as hand-me-downs too.
With the Fall 2017 boxes, the style continues to impress both parents and children. I liked seeing how excited my daughters were to try out new looks. Typically I might not choose some of these styles in the store (pleather pants, fringe tops, jumpers, and grey for a girl who loves pink). For the first time, my daughter said that grey is pretty. When she tried out all of her clothes, she was really happy with all of the unique and fun looks that she received. The colors and style were very appealing to her.
Kid Box does a good job of helping children broaden their horizons from their everyday look, while still sticking with their favorite colors and personality. Children can explore a new, unique and interesting clothing combination but still have clothes that are appropriate for school and comfortable for home.
My younger daughter liked that all of her choices were comfortable, stretchy, and had pockets. The box was very appropriate for her age and will work well both for preschool and on weekends. With a sweater and corduroys, the clothes are wonderful for layering as the weather changes.
This season’s box had brands that included DKNY and some brands I don’t know as well, such as kensie, art & eden, and Design History. Even though some of these brands were new to me, we enjoyed trying them out.
Overall, it was very exciting for my children to open a box. To them, it was like opening a gift. Usually buying clothes is not very memorable, but this service helps bring joy to the shopping experience. With crayons, a box you can decorate, and specially chosen clothing, the Kid Box is just as exciting for children as it is for the parent, and it’s something to look forward to each season.
