Cooking with a frozen heart will never create something good! Luckily, these Frozen 2 Let It Snow cookies are baked with love and compassion. Inspired by my grandmother’s Italian S cookie recipe, I made a few adjustments to make them festive for a snow day.

With the release of Frozen 2 in theaters, our family has been even more inspired to play in the snow! My daughter’s new favorite princess is Anna. She loves pretending to be Anna, and every royal princess loves a special treat! As a festive dessert, we made these delicious cookies.

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Add the dry ingredients except the chocolate chips to a mixer, and stir. Then add in the wet ingredients. Put the mixer on 4 with the dough attachment. When the ingredients are well mixed, add the chocolate chips. You may have to mix by hand too until the chocolate chips are well dispersed.

Cover the mixture and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Roll flat and use a snowflake cookie cutter to cut out the cookies. Bake for 10 minutes until light golden on the top.

Add the frosting after letting the cookies cool for 5 minutes. Then add the sprinkles and spray on the silver sparkles.
