Christmas Tree Soppressata Snack Platter

It’s snack o’time all the time! When my children take their break from virtual school, they head to the kitchen because it’s the central gathering place for our family.

With the Green Christmas Tree Serving Platter available in the home section Target stores, each break from virtual school can take on a festive new look with their favorite snacks.

Our holiday gatherings might be small, but each time we come together as a family is special. This snack tray is simple to create, and it has protein, calcium, vegetables, and fruits.

Directions

Use a star cutter to cut the cheddar cheese. Use a block of cheese, slice it in half lengthwise to make it thinner, and then cut out the star. Place it at the top of your platter.

Cut off the ends of the kiwis. Take a potato peeler and peel the exterior of the kiwi. Slice the kiwis and add them to the platter under the star.

Slice one red apple and add below the kiwis. Underneath, add some green grapes.

Add a layer of Soppressata sausage, and then the Ritz crackers.

Use a few celery sticks as the tree trunk. Slice a yellow pepper and add as the final holiday garland to your tree. Serve, and enjoy!

You can customize this dish to fit your own preferences. Since my children don’t eat much cheese, we only used the cheese for the star, but it would also make a delicious layer to add right above the Soppressata. You could also choose red peppers as the garland for a festive touch.
