When shopping for the holiday season, I came across a neat website – Kikkerland Design. I was drawn to the unique designs. Because many of the quirky, intriguing items showed the designer of the item, the products appealed to me for their artistic merit. With my background of being married to an artist, I decided to review multiple items that worked well as stocking stuffer ideas for hip guys. Even though the whimsical children’s items also fascinated me, the following items seemed to have such a universal appeal for guys that I had to share them.
Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Hip Guys
In the stocking, the first two items fit really well. Because the items were pretty small, I placed them on top of the other items in the stocking.

My first pick was the Retro Specs Contact Case. With thick, rimmed glasses being in style, the product matched what my husband’s glasses looked like. On each side, the item was conveniently labeled L for left or R for right. While the quirkiness would appeal to guys with a sense of humor, this item had a neat appeal for guys as it was practical.

Another practical stocking stuffer idea was the Shoe Shine Kit. As I designed the stocking, I found that the size was ideal for tossing in a suitcase or briefcase on the go. Inside the kit, there was a tin of shoe polish, a brush, and a shine cloth. This kit had everything a guy would need just in case his favorite pair of shoes were scuffed while he was out and he couldn’t make it home.

To show your affection and appreciation, add a Morph Coffee Mug Heart to the stocking. As one of the heavier items, it fit nicely in the bottom of the stocking. With heat, the mug’s heart changed from black to red. Reminding a guy of your love is a necessity on Christmas. Even when there’s not a lot of money for the coolest gadgets, a simple mug conveys your love.

Whether you are searching for gifts for someone religious or just spiritual, the Solar Pope has a trendy appeal that almost any guy could appreciate. Pope Francis has made some of the most beautiful and incredible statements: that animals go to the afterlife and that it is okay to look past tradition as relating to marriages. Having a pope tchotchke makes a hip statement of acceptance and change.

Up close, you can see how adorable the craftsmanship of the product is. Pope Francis looks as happy as he looks in all his photos. Since my husband was baptized this past April, the item fits him well. Given the item’s size and weight, it is the right item to put at the bottom of the stocking. The figure waves when solar power energizes it. Because prayers of intercession can be valuable in hard times, having the pope figure nearby serves as a great reminder to pray, while also serving as a reminder of the reason for the holiday season.
