When you’re a working mother, you have places to be and your children do too. Driving a large enough vehicle is a must have. Whether you have children and their friends to drive around, or you need to transport big items, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica offers plenty of space for any situation, while also offering a comfortable, high tech experience.

Families On The Go Will Love The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica

In order to check out the family minivan, I drove it for one week, thanks to Drive Shop. From home to work and back again, driving put about 250 miles on the vehicle and used almost one tank of gasoline. Since my commute involves a long drive on the interstate every day, I gained an excellent perspective of how well the vehicle would work for my lifestyle.

Convenient, Luxurious Family Minivan

If you’re looking for a vehicle that works for the whole family, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica offers everything you need. To help you learn more, I recorded a short video (thanks to Ryan for shooting it for me). Check it out to get a brief overview of the features.

When you’re a modern family living in the Northeast, you need a vehicle that has a heated steering wheel and heated seats. The weather gets very chilly here, but with the heated features, driving was comfortable from the second I got inside it.

Another useful feature is being able to sync your phone to the audio system. In the state where I live, you aren’t supposed to drive while holding your phone. Syncing your phone is not only easier, but it’s also safer for the whole family.

You can use voice recognition to turn on radio stations. When your children want a new song, you just press a button and ask the vehicle to tune to the station you like. Voice recognition also works for finding locations.

For the ultimate safety, the minivan will warn you when it is getting too close to another object. You can also see the rear view with a video on the dashboard, which was very convenient, since the vehicle is so big.

When you’re on a major interstate, another helpful feature is that the mirrors have a small orange light that shows whenever a car is within too close of a distance. Driving with small children in the car can be difficult because as much as you try to drive safely, all it takes is one other person driving recklessly to put your children in harm’s way. I loved that I felt very safe driving the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica.

Being in a new vehicle was a very luxurious experience. From the leather seats to the huge sunroof, the many incredible features helped make driving more comfortable. Since I drive often, being happy during my commute made a big difference.Test Driving The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica - Theresa's Reviews

To give you an idea of the interior, I included a couple photos. The front seats have plenty of space for storage. Under the radio dashboard was a great place for placing my large work tote.

On the dashboard, you can control the heating and AC for each seat separately. In the back seats, you can control the heating and cooling system for each seat there too. Since my daughter is in the car for a long time with me each day, being able to have control over the temperature in her area was a huge benefit to her.

We test drove these when they first came out … I really liked all the tech they were touting. But, at the time, the doors wouldn’t open with the wave of your foot like they claimed on TV, so we decided to forgo getting this vehicle. I was disappointed, because I really liked the way it drove and the cool tablets in the back for the kids!

It was incredible! You can see how spacious it is in my Youtube video. Room for 3 people plus my two car seats. I have a Radian and a Britax. Both fit perfectly.

I’ve been resisting the pull to cross over to “team minivan”, but this one might just be what does it for me. Huge sunroof and heated leather seats? And a ton of space? Sign me up! 🙂

That is so nice and roomy for a family! I like the idea of lights telling you when a vehicle gets too close as there are so many bad drivers out there.
