If you’re looking for an outdoor party with plenty of space for guests to run and play, you’re in the right place. Whether you want your guests to experience the farm animals or see the magic of the Enchanted Forest attractions, Clark’s Elioak Farm holds the heart of anyone who grew up visiting the Enchanted Forest as a child. Some of the attractions have been around since the 1950’s! Visiting Clark’s Elioak Farm is still exhilarating to the children who visit it today. When I recently had my daughter’s seventh birthday there, the location helped make the celebration extra special.
Clark’s Elioak Farm Birthday Party
In the past, I have always chosen an indoor party. Since my daughter’s birthday falls in spring, it’s always a risk that it will rain. Luckily, the weather was perfect. With the sun out and clear skies, all of my worries about the party faded away and the excitement set in right away. My daughter had no idea that the party was going to happen. We had a lot of preparation to do before she arrived!
My husband and I went half an hour early to set everything up ahead of time. For decorations, we hung a banner, but it wasn’t very noticeable. You can easily skip decorations, especially if that means you can spend more on the experiences.
Face Painting
I opted for the face painting and pony riding package. Each child got their face painting during the first half of the party. Since we had over 15 guests, face painting took longer than would have been ideal, but getting to see each child’s face light up after getting their face painted however they wanted was well worth it. I was glad to discover that my party selection was age appropriate for the children. Everyone enjoyed themselves and couldn’t wait to see what we would do next.
During the face painting, there was a playground set up next to the tables that our party could use. Since no other parties were happening at the same time, our guests were the only ones to use the playground. I liked having our own space, especially because the farm began to get more crowded. Having privacy gave the birthday girl time to talk to each of her guests. It was also easy and convenient to catch up with all the parents who came!
Pony Rides
After face painting, every child rode on a pony. I watched as the girls’ jaws dropped open with excitement. From one parent, I heard that their child had always wanted to take horse riding lessons, and that this party helped make that dream a reality. The pony rides were one of my favorite parts. Even though the guests had to wait in a line, they were all excited to watch each other ride.
Hay Rides And A Petting Farm
Next, we took off on a fun hay ride adventure. Every guest and their parents fit in the vehicle. We circled the farm, enjoyed seeing the Enchanted Forest attractions, and then ended up at the petting farm. The girls went through the feed pretty quickly, but at that point, we had gone through the two hours that we had our tables reserved.
Delicious Birthday Cake And Goody Bags
To make the birthday celebration extra special, we ordered a fantastic cake from Touche Touchet Bakery. They work with Clark’s Elioak Farm on special sheet cakes with an edible image. You can get cakes that have images of the Enchanted Forest attractions on your cake! I chose the beautiful castle, and I loved how nice it looked. Several of the children were impressed with how detailed the cake was. The cake was also very delicious, sweet, and soft.
For goody bags, each child received a Num Nom and an LOL Doll. Since my daughter helped earn gigantic crates of these (you can see the photo below) by doing unboxing reviews, I liked that she learned to pitch in and to give back, instead of just receiving gifts. Every child excitedly whispered, “Num Noms!” when they saw the goody bag. Several of the children didn’t know what LOL Dolls were at first, but after they all opened the dolls at home, they couldn’t stop talking about how fun the dolls were!
One Of The Best Birthday Parties We’ve Had
The party was one of the best we’ve ever had, and all of the children left with a smile. I was very happy with our decision to have the party at Clark’s Elioak Farm. From the face painting to the pony rides, the activities kept the guests happy and made the birthday girl feel special.

What a cool place to have a birthday party! I love that there’s a lot of things to do so even if a child doesn’t like the animals, there are still plenty of other options of things for them to do.

Do you have any pictures of the table area? Thinking of doing my daughter’s here! Was wondering on what kind of decor to get!
I did find one photo, but it has a bunch of the kid’s faces in it, so I’m not going to post it for their privacy. The tables are very long and I’m fairly certain they provided the table covers. No decor was really necessary, but we hung a happy birthday banner.
