Recently, American Girl announced a brand new update to the Wellie Wisher Garden Fun app! To help get the news out there about this cool new feature, Theresa’s Reviews and The Sammie and Georgie Show are partnering with American Girl to give away one Wellie Wisher doll to one lucky person! The new American Girl Wellie Wisher Garden Fun app update is available on Apple devices now! An announcement will be made when it is also available on Android.
Wellie Wisher Garden Fun App Update
Check out the video that The Sammie and Georgie Show made on their Youtube channel to help announce the new Garden Fun app update! You can learn a lot by seeing the app in action too. Sammie does a great job of walking you through how to navigate the wintery world. She shows all of the main things you can do with the new, updated version. Remember, subscribing, liking, and commenting are all entries!
Right now, the app update is only available on an Apple device. If the app doesn’t update automatically, check your app store for available updates. Soon, the app will be coming to Android too, but the date has yet to be announced.
When you update the app, you will see a snowman in front of the main cottage. Then, you click the trunk icon to enter the winter wonderland.
You can tell that the new Garden Fun app update worked if you see a snowman in front of the main cottage.
Inside the winter wonderland, the garden is filled with snow! It’s a beautiful place for your character to play. You can dress your character with festive holiday accessories. All of the winter outfits are completely free!
As usual, downloading the app is free, but some of the other dress-up outfits (not the winter ones) are in-app purchases that you can additionally make. My children love dressing up their characters in all of the fun outfits. They own the whole set!

My daughters are like your girls and love dressing up their dolls. They would love this and the app they would enjoy because they too, enjoy the snow. Wish I could say I like it as much as my kids do.

My 4 year old Granddaughter Autumn is Welly Wisher crazy. She plays for hours. Her older sisters play American Girl dolls for days. It occupies them and rarely do they have an argument while I playing.

There is not much you can do on the app before you pay for and at $10 I thought that was pretty high for an app— but…. my daughter loves it and has been playing it for months now. It was worth the cost.
