If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed my efforts to connect with followers (especially with my Ultimate Mom/Baby Giveaway post). When a company named George and Georgette connected with me there, I thought it must be serendipity. Since my daughter’s name is Georgiana, the company’s name seemed meant for her to wear.

To check out the shoes, we ordered the Nature model. When Georgiana saw them, she loved the style as much as she loved the name of the company.

Fun Style For Modern Children

One of the most unique parts of these shoes is that each pair is not completely identical. Instead, each shoe is a complement to the other pair, with similar colors and patterns, yet slightly different. Inspired by the owners Daphné and Christelle (who are twins), the shoes have fun, bright designs.

With mismatched styles, the shoes bring a whimsical, age-appropriate, cool look to your child’s outfit. To make the shoes even more delightful, each shoe box provides an opportunity to educate your child about helping the homeless with the reusable design of the box, where you can put goods to donate to others.

With the Nature model, the vibrant blue, purple, yellow and green bring a bit of liveliness to any neutral outfit. I liked that this particular style had identical coloring, which made it less noticeable that they were mismatched. With slight variances in the design, your children can have a small surprise to share with others about how unique their shoes are. This would be particularly enjoyable for toddlers. To make the shoes even more fun, the straps have a leaf and a cloud, which is also practical, since it helps toddlers close the straps by themselves.

George and Georgette shoes fit true to size. We ordered them slightly big to have space to grow, and they fit well enough for her to run in them. I liked that the ankle area had padding to provide comfort and support. The design seemed very appropriate for toddlers, who can be prone to falling, since they are still developing some motor skills.

We had a great time trying out these shoes! They quickly became one of Georgiana’s favorite pairs. She wears them everywhere now, and she looks adorable in them.

    Those are some adorable looking shoes. The colors are fun and of course the velcro makes it easier for them to learn how to put on their own shoes.
