4 Places To Celebrate New Year’s Eve Near Baltimore
Today on Theresa’s Reviews, I’m sharing four places you can celebrate New Year’s Eve near Baltimore. You don’t have to stay out until Midnight for some of them, and others sound so fun you’ll be excited to stay up late.
Port Discovery Noontime New Year’s Eve Celebration
On Sunday, December 31 from 10 AM – 5 PM, Ring in the New Year early with the annual Noontime New Year’s Eve Celebration at Port Discovery Children’s Museum! Early bedtime or not, partygoers will enjoy a festive day of play.
Dance the day away as rockin’ tunes fill the Museum. Watch special performances from Eric Energy, who will teach revelers about Cool Science, and the Kindersinger, who will keep little ones jingling all day long.
Make jingle bell bracelets, sound sandwiches and diffusion snowflakes to help out with our famous Noontime Countdown. After the countdown, enjoy a milk and cookie toast and continue exploring the Museum for more festive family fun.
All events and exhibits are free with Museum admission, which is $15.95 for individuals two and over. Members and children under two enter free. Visit www.portdiscovery.org for more information!
Maryland Science Center Gingerbread Lane
From November 11 to January 7, come visit Maryland Science Center to take a stroll around a gingerbread village hand crafted by chef Jon Lovitch. Located on Level Two, Gingerbread Lane is a unique holiday experience that begins a new tradition at the Inner Harbor following along the success of similar work in New York, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.
You can also ring in the New Year at the Maryland Science Center! The annual New Year’s Eve celebration, Midnight Noon, is where children can enjoy the ball drop before bed time. There will be fun New Year’s festivities throughout the day, including a live concert by popular kids band Milkshake.
