Fun Family Communication With Triby Theresa October 9, 2016 Home 46 Comments For families always on the go, finding a way to reconnect can be difficult. With the Triby smart portable speaker, you can not only call your kids, but you can also have fantastic dance parties when you are home, and you can use the Alexa function to look up answers to fun questions together. Fun Family Communication With Triby Whether you are gone often or occasionally, being able to get in contact directly with your child can give you a peace of mind. If you’re a working parent, you can find creative ways to reconnect with your children when you’re not home. Kid-Friendly Design With a simple design and an adorable blue cover, the Triby device offers a kid-friendly layout that kids can easily use. Since the back of the device has a strong magnet, it sticks well on the refrigerator. Overall the functions are easy to use. If you press the phone button, you can call a user who has the Triby app installed and connected to your device. Since you only press one button to make the phone call, this setup is perfect for children. I tested the voice function out after leaving my home WiFi. When I called my husband and children from down the road, I was delighted to hear their voice on the other end. Catching up with a simple phone call is almost outdated since everything has turned to video chatting, but it’s awesome that children don’t have distractions on this device. You don’t have to worry about your child accidentally making a purchase or going to an inappropriate website. With this device, children can easily make phone calls. Since many people don’t own a landline anymore, this is a simple solution that helps family stay connected. Alexa-Enabled Smart Home Device If your children are always borrowing your phone to ask Siri questions, you’ll love Triby. Simply connect the Alexa app, which is Amazon’s voice control system. You can ask Alexa the weather, your favorite music, or local restaurant recommendations. You can even visit your Amazon Alexa account to see previous voice communication. This feature provides you the safety of knowing what your child is searching for, if she uses Alexa when you aren’t there. Keeping this Alexa-enabled device nearby in the kitchen can make life simpler for you, while it offers entertainment for the kids. Send Messages Instantly Another useful feature is the ability to send short messages using your phone or tablet. When you send the message, the yellow tab pops out on the left, which along with a sound, notifies the user that a message has arrived. After you press the yellow tab in, the message stays on the device until you send a new one. Since the message stays there as a reminder, it’s like an electronic post it note. Connect To Your Favorite Radio Station While Triby is fabulous for staying connected when you’re away from home, another fantastic feature is that it connects to the radio. Using the app, you can program the device to play your two favorite radio stations with a simple press of a button. With the radio feature, my children can choose to listen to classical music while they do homework, or they can put on a fun, upbeat station for dance parties. Setting up the music stations on the app was simple to do. The radio stations came in clearly, and the volume control was simple enough for children to understand. All in all, Triby offers connectivity and safety that are hard to find elsewhere. Although I’ve used awesome Bluetooth speakers before, this device has phone and text capabilities that I haven’t seen on other devices. After you set up the app and Wifi, you can easily use the different features. The device is set up so well that even a child could use it!
