NRA Member Action Needed to Oppose Obama Supreme Court Nominee

NRA Member Action Needed to Oppose Obama Supreme Court Nominee
Yesterday, the National Rifle Association announced its strong opposition to President Barrack Obama’s nomination of  Merrick Garland to the United States Supreme Court.  NRA-ILA’s executive director Chris W. Cox  has this to say about the nomination: “With Justice Scalia’s tragic passing, there is no longer a majority of support among the justices for the fundamental, individual right to own a firearm for self-defense. Four justices believe law-abiding Americans have that right – and four justices do not. President Obama has nothing but contempt for the Second Amendment and  law-abiding gun owners.

Anti-Gun Group Joins Clinton's Pro-Criminal CampaignAnti-Gun Group Joins Clinton’s Pro-Criminal Campaign
The Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence (LCPGV), a handful of San Francisco-based lawyers who draft gun control legislation for anti-gun politicians, has added its voice to Hillary Clinton’s perverse campaign against law enforcement officers and the criminal justice system. Like Clinton, the anti-gun group is trying to gain the support of far-left-of-center voters who increasingly constitute their respective political bases.

European Parliament Takes Initial Steps on EU Gun Control Measures

European Parliament Takes Initial Steps on EU Gun Control Measures
Since we last updated readers to the European Union’s efforts to enact further gun controls, the transnational government has continued the process of enacting stringent new restrictions across the political bloc. However, recent developments indicate that the final legislation could be dramatically different than the draft measures proposed by the European Commission. While any further additions to Europe’s already onerous gun control regime is unwarranted, some of the European Parliament’s proposed changes to the draft legislation, if adopted, would make the new rules somewhat more tolerable. Unfortunately, other areas that the European Parliament seems willing to explore could exacerbate problems with the proposal.
