For Mother’s Day, comfortable shoes are a great gift to show mom that you care. Women of all ages can appreciate the structure and style of shoes from Gravity Defyer. The company specializes in shoes that have a unique sole, which helps provide support as well as comfort. As a working mom who frequently walks up several flights of stairs on the job, I was so happy with the shoes after wearing them. To review the company’s products, I tried out two pairs: the Azita Casual Shoes and the Peony Casual Shoes.

Gravity Defyer Shoes Review

While trying out the shoes, I was really excited about the Azita Casual Shoes. The Mary Jane style shoes had cute accents on the toes to make the shoes look hip. Another thing I liked was that the shoes were made out of leather. Good quality material helped make the shoes look professional. When I left for work in the morning, I worried as I walked through the dewy grass that the leather would stain. To my relief, the material dried off without any residual damage from the water, even without water treating it.

My second pair of shoes that I tried was the Peony Casual Shoes. The shoes were nice looking, professional sandals with bead embellishments. I found the style of the material to be most appealing. As a cool pair of summer sandals, the shoes went nicely with my flared leg, navy blue slacks. With the weather reaching high temperatures, the shoes were a key item to help update my wardrobe for spring.

One of the neat features of the Peony shoes was that they had beautiful bead embellishments. The coloring of the beads was very appealing. My wardrobe is mainly made up of blues and greens, so the colors of the beads as well as the smooth, goldish-silver coloring of the fabric went well with my clothes. Pairing the sandals with different outfits could create very different looks. When I wore the sandals with my wide legged slacks, the beads barely showed. As a few beads showed in the front when I moved, it looked like a pretty ankle bracelet. I switched the style of my outfit to accentuate the beads more. Wearing the shoes with a skirt or capri pants made the beads a more obvious part of my outfit.

The only consideration to make before buying a pair is that the fit is a little smaller than some shoes. I bought the size I always buy, and I noticed that the shoes fit more snugly than usual. As I wore the shoes, my feet felt fine, but in the future, I might try one half a size bigger. Especially if you are buying a pair for mom as a Mother’s Day gift, I would get a half size up just to ensure that it would fit well.

To me, the best part was that the shoes were incredibly comfortable. Growing up, I’ve always needed shoes with good arch support. Heading into the warmer months, I usually have a hard time finding shoes that are attractive, professional, and supportive. These shoes were exactly what I needed.     Seeing this post, I immediately thought of the song Defying Gravity and was singing it in my head. Lol! Anyway, for a shoe that has the good arch support, this is quite stylish. I have arch support shoes that doesn’t have style at all but this pair of shoes are quite nice and looks really comfortable.

    It looks like the two pairs of shoes you tried provide a nice range of usage options! Mary Jane shoes are really versatile, and would be great for wet or cold weather… while sandals are good for anytime (and dressy occasions). It’s never fun to wear shoes that are uncomfortable, so it’s good to hear these ones passed the comfort check 🙂

    Peony Casual Shoes look like a pair that can be worn with any outfit. It’s a classic design that is also smart-casual. The color of the beads are really nice. However, when choosing sandals, I really prefer to get one with a strap at the back to make my feet feel more secure.
