Craghoppers Pro Lite Fleece Jacket Review theresa June 30, 2015 Outdoors 11 Comments Heading into the fall, a lightweight jacket is a great gift idea for a guy. Having a light, easy to pack fleece jacket is great for any season. The weather can fluctuate so much. In the summer, downpours can make even the warmest days feel cool. When the fall and winter come, a fleece jacket is great by itself or layered with a warmer jacket. While the item is ideal for hikers facing the outdoor elements, it works well for everyday activities too. Craghoppers Pro Lite Fleece Jacket Review Venturing out into a rainstorm recently, my family had noticed the flash flood warnings, but we were eager to see whether a local event we had been looking forward to was still happening. Earlier in the day, since I had poked my head outside to check for packages, I knew that the air had a chill to it, which was odd for a summer’s day. The air seemed moist and drizzly, but no there were no major rainstorms yet. Dressing the kids, I layered them with leggings and long sleeve shirts and insisted on rain boots. My husband had heard that the weather would reach 90 degrees, so he casually tossed on a polo shirt with his jeans. As we left the house, I grabbed the gray Pro Lite Fleece Jacket that I had gotten him for Father’s Day. If he didn’t need it, I would drape it over our toddler if it started to rain. As we arrived at the event, the weather was dismal. Heavy rain was starting to come down. All of the carnival games were deserted. None of the activities that required sun were still happening. A white elephant sale had moved indoors. We began our search to discover whether all of the fun activities were canceled. We moved from building to building, walking in the rainstorm, hoping to find the face painting station. Suddenly, using the fleece was in high demand. My husband put it on to stay warm and dry. Even in the summer, the fleece came in handy. The item fit my husband well. My husband wore it for as long as he could before our toddler became so soaked that we worried she might get sick in the cold. Since our toddler needed the fleece wrapped around her, my husband handed it over to me. With the fleece draped over my toddler, she looked completely serene. The fabric was so soft and high quality. Although my daughter was still wet, the jacket provided enough warmth to help keep her from getting sick in the cold, wet weather. It turned out that all of the kids’ activities had been canceled for the day. Venturing out in the bad weather had few benefits, other than some extra quality time together as a family. At least our daughter didn’t get sick, while she stayed warm under the jacket. I would highly recommend the jacket. The item feels amazing and has the softest material. When my husband wore it, I noticed that the jacket had a great fit and excellent design. As the weather gets cool this fall, the jacket is going to be a practical choice that also looks nice on him. We just don’t need them. Reply Sandy KS June 30, 2015 I like the gray color of the fleece jacket. Reminds me of winter and how warm and soft fleece can be.
