Women’s Shoes For Summer 2014

I’ve enjoyed sampling a few of the top women’s shoes for summer 2014. To me, summer is meant for an active lifestyle, but I don’t always like to sacrifice looking good. Wearing the right shoes helps promote active living in me without looking sloppy. I chose to feature the following shoes because of their versatility and comfort as well as a good style. Check out my list and if you try them out too, leave me a comment telling me how they worked for you!

Chaco Reversiflips

Chaco, known for comfortable hiking sandals, has a new style of sandals. Chaco Reversiflips come with a gray bottom and for about $17 more, you can purchase interchangeable straps. I’ve found that the black straps are the most useful for me as they have a sleek look that can go with anything. If you want brighter colors for a beach trip, check out the blue patterned straps. For me, the shoes have been a great pick for the poolside. I wear the shoes all the time around the house, to get the mail, to go grocery shopping and to play in the yard. If you’re planning an adventurous travel, bring the lightweight, easy to pack sandals for a trip around the world. I found the shoes to have great quality and I liked how durable they were.

Soft Star Shoes Sandals

Comfortable, beautiful leather sandals from Soft Star Shoes made my list because I have enjoyed wearing them regularly. Honestly, the company lives up to its name “Soft.” The shoes feel so supple under my feet. In the summer, you can wear the shoes out to a relaxed meal or for walking the beach.  I’ve worn the shoes running errands all over and I’ve been pleased with how the shoes felt on my feet. As the shoes have a small opening in the toe, they are a great pair to wear to show off my latest pedicure. While the shoes have a natural, earthy look, they look nice with many different outfits.

Oliberte Mbozi Tan Nubuck Women’s Shoes

Created from Fair Trade Certified company Oliberte, the Mbozi Tan Nubuck flats are fashionable and comfortable. I’ve worn my pair since the spring and I’ve loved them. The shoes go great with skirts, flowing dresses, jeans, shorts and capri pants. I can’t think of any of my clothes that wouldn’t go with the basic, neutral colors of the flats. Tan shoes are a great trend for the summer because they help elongate your legs and have a natural look that is attractive for vacations. In the past half a year, I wore the shoes nonstop to work as well as to church and to run errands. I found that the shoes were easy to slip on and off, while they never gave me blisters.
