Valentine’s Day bouquets are one of the most searched for items in the weeks leading up to the holiday. Flowers are a popular gift to show your loved one that you care. To help those searching for gifts in the weeks before Valentine’s Day, I tried out a stunning bouquet and a helpful love note concierge service from a company I have previously used for Christmas arrangements, Teleflora. The experience was a very positive one. I was impressed with how much the company went out of their way for me.

Valentine’s Day Bouquets

First, my local Teleflora flower delivery shop, The Flower Basket, showed an incredible amount of dedication in the midst of a natural disaster. When a winter storm swept through town and piled nearly three feet of snow at my doorstep, the delivery was understandably pushed back a day until a plow truck visited my street. The next day, when schools were still not yet in session, the company  promptly delivered the flowers. By midafternoon on a very snowy day, a delivery man walked up to my slippery doorstep and handed me the Wrapped in Passion bouquet that comes with a beautiful red vase.

I was not only impressed with the commitment, but also with the beautiful Valentine’s Day bouquet. Each color in the arrangement stood out beautifully. I loved the mixture of light and dark pinks, green, and red. The pink stargazer lilies were my favorite because they made the flower arrangement stand out from a traditional bouquet of red roses.

One of the best things about the bouquet is its vase. The design stands out from other, more simple styles. When the bouquet was on my dark kitchen table, next to some tall, thin red candles and crystal candlesticks, my home looked ready for Valentine’s Day celebrations. Now, a week later, the flowers still look beautiful. Tonight, I switched out the red candlesticks for pink ones that still match the deep pink in the bouquet for a new home decor look.

Another neat service that Teleflora is offering for Valentine’s Day is a love note concierge service. To try the service out, I called in to get advice on writing a card for the holiday. Cards are popular gifts, but the challenging part can be writing a thoughtful, beautiful note inside the card. I was excited to see how this service could help.

My experience was good. When I called in, one of the most helpful parts was having someone ask me what my favorite experiences were with the person I wrote about in my letter. This simple question helped me remember why I was writing the letter in the first place. Then the concierge came up with a witty note for my card, based on the information I had given. What a beautiful bouquet! And a great idea with the love note thing! So many people struggle with this but I’ve never heard of a company helping out like this. It’s so unique and brilliant! I love receiving books. I joke with my husband because “receiving gifts” has always been at the bottom of my love language list, but if “receiving books” were a language, that would be my number one!

I like to send my mom flowers but I prefer potted flowers. It sounds stupid but I always feel bad when flowers are cut and sitting in a vase waiting to die rather than living in a pot of dirt.

I love giving gifts that have an inside meaning. It doesn’t have to be an expensive item but as long as it has meaning behind it.

I love for my husband to take me to dinner and a movie, we are special needs parents and we seldom get a night out alone so I cherish the time we get to spend on a “date night”!

My favorite Teleflora Valentine’s bouquet is the “Lovely Hearts” one, because of the colors. It’s got pink and peach roses in it, and I love peach colored flowers, they are so cheerful-looking.
