Ready for a party? Great dip can make a party excellent. My favorite party dip is cheese sauce. When I was a kid, my best memories were of my family making a medium spicy cheese sauce that we would enjoy together while watching a movie. Another party pleaser is salsa dip. The most important tip when choosing a cheese sauce or a salsa is to shop for quality. Cheap brands lack flavor and can have an unappealing texture. One of the best brands I’ve tried is Mrs. Renfro’s, so when the company offered to send me four jars to feature on my blog, I was happy to try the food.

Tasty Party Dips for Any Occasion

Nacho Cheese Sauce with Chipotle

First, I tried was the nacho cheese sauce with chipotle peppers. Since chipotle peppers are known for a mild, earthy spiciness, the taste of the peppers is great with cheese. Eating the dip brought me back to my childhood memories of a eating cheese sauce with a hint of spicy peppers, while watching fun movies. Now, eating Mrs. Renfro’s cheese sauce was delicious, and it was just the right addition to a family movie night. Having tasty, easy to make appetizers in the home encouraged my husband, kids, and me to spend more time together. Regarding the taste, this was my favorite of the two cheese sauces. There was also plenty of dip in the jar. One jar was enough for two separate occasions, and it only used one bag of chips.

Another dip I tried was a medium hot cheese sauce. If you prefer cheese dip with less heat, this is the dip for you. The delicious flavor and authentic cheesy texture is all still there, just with less spiciness. My husband doesn’t like spice in cheese sauce, so this was his favorite of the two cheese sauces. I liked it too, but I preferred the spicier cheese sauce to give it more flavor.

Medium Salsa

Salsa is another delicious party dip. If you aren’t up for the task of making your own from scratch, you can still enjoy authentic, fresh flavors with salsa from Mrs. Renfro’s. The medium salsa is made with tomato, peppers, onions, and spices. It works well with chips and on tacos. You could even mix it with avocados to make guacamole. Since I enjoy some spice, this was my favorite of the two salsas.

Mild Salsa

For people who don’t enjoy spice, the mild salsa is a great option. This was my kids’ favorite of all four dips. There’s still a great flavor and fresh tasting ingredients. The salsa has a delicious taste without the heat that the medium salsa had. With plain tortilla chips, the mild salsa is a very kid-friendly option, which works well if you’re entertaining kids at your party.

Black Bean Salsa (For dipping with layered Ghost Pepper at said party)
Mexican Hot Sauce (On Everything, and only maybe shared at the party)
Tequila Salsa (On Drunken Chicken, the morning after the party)
