With teachers and children finally settling into this new school year, it’s the perfect time to think about giving back. Whether you volunteer, send in occasional small gifts, or offer to help in other ways, classrooms can always use your help! Featured today on Theresa’s Reviews, I’m sharing SONIC’s Limeades for Learning 10th annual Fall Voting Campaign. Check out how you can vote to help SONIC allocate its $1 million donation throughout the month of October!

While you might enjoy SONIC for its family friendly fast food, you should also know how the brand supports public school teachers. Recognizing that public school teachers needed more support, SONIC Drive-In partnered with DonorsChoose.org ten years ago. In 2009 SONIC launched Limeades for Learning® with its first Fall Voting campaign.

Limeades for Learning is a national award-winning initiative to support U.S. public school teachers in local communities. Since the launch of SONIC’s Limeades for Learning philanthropic campaign in partnership with DonorsChoose.org, SONIC has donated $10.4 million to public school teachers and impacted over 600,000 students nationwide to fund essential learning materials and innovative teaching resources to inspire creativity and learning in today’s youth.

Throughout the month of October, SONIC will donate $1 million to public school teachers across the country. Projects with the most votes at the end of each week will receive funding, while remaining projects get a chance to be fulfilled the following week as votes roll over.

During the voting period, Monday, Oct. 1, through Sunday, Oct. 28, SONIC encourages everyone to visit LimeadesForLearning.com and vote daily on specific teacher projects that inspire them.

There are four ways to earn votes for teacher projects throughout the Fall Voting campaign. First, vote once daily after signing up with a valid email address. Next, visit a SONIC Drive-In to get a bag sticker code worth two votes. Then, vote ten times to receive two extra votes via email. Finally, share on social media to earn two extra votes.

With the help and support of our fans, by 2021 SONIC’s total contribution to local public school classrooms will exceed $20 million.

Looked through all the different classroom needs listed on Donors Choose to determine where my $200 donation should go, the ones that captured my heart were the donations for early learners. As a kindergarten parent, I enjoy helping out classrooms with students who are new to school because I hope that experience is a wonderful one for them! You can narrow down your search to local communities to support a nearby school or search by topic.

I like to get the chicken strips kid meal for my daughter and sometimes a M&M Sonic Blast for myself.

I like their chili cheese coney dog. We no longer have one near us but my sister does and they go there often.

Since I was a kid, my favorite Sonic food has been the baconburger with cheese and a thick strawberry milkshake. My little brother always got their frito pie.

Commented on the Booster pads, such a great idea, especially when those little baby butts are tiny but the capacity doesn’t match the need.

My family rarely eats out and we haven’t eaten at a Sonic in years. I took at peek at the menu on the Sonic website and ooooh my! I would have to order some of the hand made onion rings and I know my kids would want the jr. burger with fries. Ofcourse there is no way we could go there and not order a slushie or shake- I have my eye on the hand mixed Strawberry Cheesecake shake. We have a Sonic about 10minutes away so totally worth the trip.

My favorite thing to order at Sonic is their cheeseburger with onion rings and an ice cold coke. They have the best onion rings.

Always have to have an order of cheese sticks and try out a different slushie every time!

My favorite thing to order at Sonic is the Bacon cheeseburger or the chili cheese tots or the soft serve cone! I can’t choose just one!
