Sometimes days are just perfect in every way and in some occasions those days are even more perfect than we could ever imagine. I hope that’s what Megan and Jacob thought when they got married this past Saturday on the most beautiful day we have had in quite sometime. It was a cool 70 degrees, bright blue skies, and as the sunlight shone through the large oak tress at the Leu Museum and Gardens we walked around enjoying the day, taking pictures, oh and they got married too.:)
Megan and I have been friends for a long time, it dates back to when we played competitive tennis and faced each other on the court during the week and usually on the weekends at tournaments too. Megan’s maid of honor Danielle was also a former tennis player, friend, and former bride from 2 years ago (seriously where does the time go!). It’s funny how friendships you make when you are younger can stay with you for the rest of your life, I never would have thought when I was 15 that one day I’d be photographing either of their weddings, and even now that it’s my professional it still such a huge honor to do so.
Megan and Jacob, your wedding day was magical, amazing, picture perfect, I could go on forever. Every time I looked down at my camera and saw the pictures I secretly smiled in joy at the amazingness and I simply could not wait to edit your pictures. But most of all seeing the happiness between you two made my heart smile. I am so incredibly happy for you both, here are some of my favorites:
