This is a sponsored post. Honey Bunches of Oats was willing to send me free breakfast biscuits and payment for me to write about their snacks. The best part was that I loved their food anyway, so the payment in no way affected my opinions. Getting to try out delicious snacks was awesome for my entire family. The company sent me three varieties: the honey roasted flavor, chocolate, and strawberry. My husband, kids and I all ended up trying out the snacks and giving the food a positive recommendation.

Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits Review

Earlier this year, I purchased the honey roasted breakfast biscuits for a few reasons. First, the biscuits had a solid texture that made them preferable to some other bars of food that crumble more easily. It can be super frustrating to feed snack food to the kids for the convenience, only to find myself spending twice as long picking up the crumbs. The breakfast bars were convenient and didn’t make a lot of crumbs even when my two year old daughter tried them. Because the food barely made a mess, I realized how great they would work for my upcoming summer vacation.

During long summer trips, easy to reach snack food is critical to have on hand in the car. Each stop along the way wastes precious time. You can get to your destination on time without stopping every hour by placing a box of the breakfast biscuits in the car. For me, the snacks were useful even just for running errands with my kids. Instead of wasting money on unhealthy drive through meals, I had tasty snacks on hand to help keep the hunger away until we got home and could make a healthy lunch. To help describe the flavor, I sampled each type of breakfast biscuit. On the first day, I dipped the honey roasted breakfast biscuit into my coffee and I gave my husband a couple of biscuits too. The honey roasted flavor was simple, just as I remembered, and it tasted great with coffee. Usually I eat biscotti with my coffee, but the biscuits had a softer taste that made them preferable to biscotti to me.

On the second day, I couldn’t wait to try the chocolate flavor. The taste was delicious. Mixed with my coffee, the biscuits had a sweet taste that I loved. Since I don’t usually go for savory breakfasts, the biscuits were just right for me. They were simple to eat quickly in the morning when the kids were sleeping. The biscuits also worked well on days when the kids woke up when I did as the day became busy quickly.

By the third day, my kids absolutely would not let me get away with eating the food without sharing. I gave each daughter half of one and I ate the three left over in the four-pack of biscuits. The taste had a sweet, delicious flavor, similar to strawberry flavored milk. Both of my girls like the taste of the snacks too. Eating the food was a special treat for my girls. Because the snacks were convenient to eat on the go, feeding the biscuits to my kids was also a treat for me. Later this summer, when we travel to the beach, I’m definitely taking a couple boxes of breakfast biscuits for the kids and for me.

Up until having to eliminate it because of a case of Celiac’s in the house, Honey Bunches of Oats were far and away the kids favorite cereal. These must be awesome.

This sounds like a great snack, especially since you said it hardly leaves crumbs. We keep tons of snacks in our car for my little one, which always leave a mess.
