How to Make Frozen Yogurt Bears

If your children are anything like mine, they enjoy seeing their food displayed in fun, cute ways. That’s where gummy bear silicone molds come in! These make any snack look cuter. For a healthier option, make frozen yogurt bears instead of gummy bears. This delicious recipe is adorable as a topping to a smoothie or cereal, and it makes a filling snack by itself too.

Frozen Yogurt Bears

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup frozen cherries
  • 1/2 cup frozen rasperries
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut

Frozen Yogurt Bears

Directions:

For this recipe, you will use a Gummy Bear silicone mold and a blender. This gummy bear silicone mold kit comes with two molds and two droppers, which is perfect for making this recipe with your children.

Put the frozen berries, frozen cherries, shredded coconut, and yogurt in the blender. Blend well until it is smooth. You might need to pause occasionally to make sure that the frozen berries are blending and not sticking to the edges.

Using the dropper, fill each bear in the mold. Make sure the ears of each bear are filled. If any bears are overflowing, wipe up the extra mixture. Otherwise, they can come out looking a bit funny.

If there is any extra of the mixture leftover, save it in a cup to enjoy as your beverage when the snack is ready.

Place the gummy bear molds on a steady surface, such as a plate or cookie sheet, and place them in the freezer. Allow to freeze for at least two hours.

Remove the molds from the freezer. Place a plate underneath, and pop each bear out of the mold. Serve with the smoothie drink or on top of the drink and enjoy!

These turned out sweet and refreshing. I used the Light & Fit vanilla yogurt, which has a sweet flavor. If your yogurt is tart and you want these to turn out sweet, make sure to add your sweetener of choice.

Since these snacks are pink, they also end up looking a bit like adorable pigs. My children thought they were cute, delicious, and totally InstaHAM-worthy, whichever animal they were!
