If the Christmas season make you want to cuddle up, watch movies, and drink hot chocolate, a relaxed holiday style is ideal for you. Instead of scratchy holiday sweaters, heels, or fancy dresses, go for a style that makes you happy. Pair jeans with a comfortable sweater and dash over to your family’s house in a pair of Chacos for look that works for a low-key get together.

Comfortable Holiday Style From Chaco

Theresa's Reviews - Cozy Up With Family In @Chaco Pineland Chukkas

For 26 years, Chacos has specialized in creating shoes that offer excellent performance. Most commonly, you see people sporting the traditional outdoor sandals in the summer. Chaco also has excellent winter boots. I love that the boots look casual and fashion-conscious, instead of outdoorsy, but they still offer the comfort Chaco is known for offering.

For this year’s Thanksgiving family gathering, I dressed casually in jeans, a sweater, and my new Chacos. With the Pineland Chukka, you look nice for a casual holiday party, while the shoes also offer excellent support for impromptu family hikes. We aren’t the type of family to dress up a lot on holidays. The style was perfect because it looked nice for pictures, but was comfortable to wear.

Because of the shape of the shoes, they look best with jeans that have a bit of a flare. To offset the beige color, you can pair them with a colorful top.

For a casual day with family, these shoes are perfect. They are easy to get on and off in seconds. I liked that the shoes were very comfortable even for some last-minute Black Friday shopping. Although the shoelaces came untied a couple of times, you can double tie them for convenience.

I found that the shoes fit true to size. Note that Chaco boots come in half sizes (it’s their sandals that don’t). Even though I accidentally ordered half a size too big, they still fit awesome.

If you want a pair that is nicer for special events, check out the Hopi. I’ve owned these boots for over a year, and I wore them recently on a day trip to New York City. Although it was a tough decision between the Chukka and the Hopi, the Hopi had a more urban look that worked well with my dark, skinny leg jeans.

My favorite part about Chacos is that no matter what pair you wear, you can walk in them all day. The company designs all their shoes to work well for very active people. Even though I walked for about five hours in the boots, my muscles ached but my feet felt fine.

I love that with Chaco boots, you get a good-looking holiday style with a practical design. Whether you spend time together as a family hiking or simply curl up next to the fireplace, the shoes work well for all occasions.
