Spring means sprucing up my wardrobe with neutral shoes! Oliberte debuted some Fair Trade Certified Mbozi Tan Nubuck neutral colored flats this spring 2014. Because wearing neutral shoes helps create the illusion of longer legs, neutral flats are a staple in my wardrobe for the warmer months. I tried out the shoes to write a review. While the flats had an excellent style, their comfort was above average.

Review of the Fair Trade Certified Shoes

When I wore the shoes, I felt that they were an excellent staple for my spring wardrobe. As a fashion and lifestyle writer, I make an effort to stay aware of the latest trends. My neutral flats complemented several outfits, such as khakis and neutral tops, pale colored skirts, and loose dresses. I kept the overall color of my outfits neutral and I added a splash of color with a scarf to keep me from looking pale. Because I had a background in the fashion industry, I knew that neutral shoes were a very fashionable choice year round.

Moccasins have been in style this year. I liked that the shoes had moccasin side stitching. As a teacher, I felt that the down-to-earth, relaxed style looked appropriate for work. If you go out often, the shoes had a hip style for a nice look after work. Even though the shoes had a bohemian look, the style wasn’t overly hippy dippy so it went well with professional work clothes.

I chose size 9 because I usually fit a size 8.5. Wearing shoe size 9, the shoes seemed to fit okay until I started trying to walk when I noticed that the shoes were really tight around my toes. If you’re buying the shoes, it’s important to note that the shoes run small. I ended up returning the size 9 for a size 10, which fit perfectly. The shoes have an excellent fit if you go about a whole size up from what you would usually buy.

While I tried out the shoes, I was impressed with the comfort and fit. As with any new shoes, I had to wear the shoes in some before they felt perfect for my feet. When wearing the shoes to work for the first time, I was glad that my feet didn’t blister. The shoes fit well. After wearing the shoes several days, the new shoe feel was gone so the shoes felt great on my feet. I’m looking forward to wearing the shoes during spring, summer and fall.

I received a free item, but it in no way influenced my opinion.
