Recently I found a mysterious package on my doorstep. Interested and excited, I tore open the package. Inside the box I found four packages of Honey Stinger kids’ snacks, which I hadn’t ordered, with a request that I consider reviewing the food. I placed the packages aside for the night. Before breakfast the next day, I awoke to find my daughter with three empty individual snack packages. I realized that my daughter enjoyed the product so I wrote the following review.

Review of the Kids’ Snacks

When I tried the kids’ snacks, I had started a New Year’s kick of eating healthy, and I liked that the ingredients were organic. USDA certified organic children’s snacks sounded healthy and nutritious. Later I realized that the food didn’t contain many nutrients, but functioned effectively as a natural energy booster. After gleaming some information about the company, I learned that major sporting goods stores carried the product all over the nation. Tasting the products proved to be satisfactory. I had a huge sweet tooth and I loved the sweet honey taste in the waffle treats. Dipping the snack in my coffee was lovely. I enjoyed the taste of the sweet waffle mixing with my latte.

My daughter loved the waffle snacks. The organic chews had a lot of sugar, which I only approved of when my daughter exercised. As a health-conscious mom, I tried to keep the sugar content low in my children’s diet, but I believed in letting my daughter act like a kid and eating sweets occasionally. When my daughter ate the kids’ snacks, she became super active. I loved watching my daughter use her energy as she rode her bike around the house and ran in circles around the sofas. My daughter’s constant application to developing her athleticism was something I didn’t typically see. Although at first I thought my daughter’s behavior was erratic, I later realized that the kids’ snacks may have truly given her an energy boost!

I felt that the snacks would be great for my daughter to eat during a long hike to the river, a day at the park, or an afternoon jog at the nature park. I liked that the products came in small, one-serving packages because the snack food was simple to toss in a diaper bag and a hiking backpack on the go. The small packaging size simplified portion control. In the future, I decided that the product could make a nice organic treat for Valentine’s Day to my daughter with a note about how sweet she was.
