Years ago, fashion was a major part of my life. Although these days I wear leggings more often than dresses, I still enjoy getting dressed up from time to time. When I reviewed a Chicnova V-Neckline Sleeveless Slim Fit fashionable dress, I remembered my love of fashionable dresses and fun events. I realized that a great party dress can help remind you to enjoy life.

Review of the Dress

Wearing a slim fit dress, I was happy that I had been running and eating healthy. Sizing was accurate to the sizing chart. Shoppers should remember that means that the product fits tighter on the waist. To me, I’m fine with wearing a slim fit dress to accentuate my waist because I have a very straight body type. When people have a straight body type with minimal curves, having something to accentuate the waist can help make an outfit look more appealing.

Something I loved about the dress was that it had a very fun, flirty skirt. The design of the skirt helped remind me that I should take a break for myself sometime. I should go out and have fun. Becoming a mom limited the time that my husband and I have to do enjoyable activities without the kids. Having a great party dress gives me a reason to schedule some fun time for my husband and I to go out again.

The only concern with the dress was that the zipper didn’t stay up as well as it could have, but I was able to cover that up with a cardigan.

When I thought about accessories to wear with the dress, I decided to wear a simple silver chain necklace about 1/2 and inch wide. Even though I had a matching silver bracelet, I went for simplicity by wearing only one accessory. I liked that the dress had a fashionable, fun and classic look. Because the dress was fitted and dark blue, it had a look that worked well for me. I paired the dress with beige high heels.

That’s a really cute dress! I could see it working for both a night out or as a daytime dress.

I would love to own a dress like this. I think every woman should have a little black dress in their closet. I donated mine recently and need to get another. This one looks perfect!
