One reason I am a fan of this television show is that this past November, I had the awesome opportunity to visit the Disney Animation building to interview the cast and creators of the new Big Hero 6 television show as part of a blogger’s event for the theatrical release of Disney Pixar’s Coco.

Although I was already a fan of the Big Hero 6 movie, being able to interview actor Ryan Potter (the voice of Hiro) and executive producers Mark McCorkle, Bob Schooley and Nick Fillippi helped me better understand the show and see its value for children.

If you are looking for a show that appeals to children who enjoy science and robotics, this is a great pick.

Big Hero 6: The Series Back In Action! is also ideal for children who feel that things never go their way. Even though Hiro encounters constant setbacks, he is always working towards becoming a better person and finding more success.

This movie for me is about being strong and brave. My daughter and I first saw this movie together when she was in the hospital at 3 years old. It took her mind off the procedure she was having. She laughed and really got into the movie. So, the memory of that really makes this movie special to us.
